Near to where I live in the New Forest, the village of Brockenhurst is close by. Not only is this where my daughter went to college, but it was also the place where No 1 New Zealand General Hospital was established in 1916. To this day, the population of Brockenhurst observe ANZAC Day, preserving the close links that the village forged with the Kiwi's through two world wars.
