I once had a Company Commander in the Royal Hampshire's who had previously served with the Australian SAS in Vietnam. While he was a passenger in a Huey gunship, the Vietcong managed to put a bullet through his left buttock, causing him to be medevac'ed.
He joined us while we were on a tour in Crossmaglen, South Armagh. He was travelling as a passenger in a Scout helicopter, and the IRA managed to zap him in his right buttock, causing him to be medevac'ed! He was an unpleasant piece of work, so his absence was not mourned. It was said that he no longer farted, but sounded like a two tone air-horn!
