A letter from the Governor General

Dear Members of Military Global Allied Forces;

                                                           It is with great pleasure that I write to you today. Our forum is running into its' eighth month of operations and continues to grow steam due to your continued commitments and participation. The future for our small but energetic community burns bright and with continued projects and thread development our forum will only grow stronger in both character and material.

The purpose of this letter is to give the opportunity to announce two important matters. The first is to let it be known that under a new honours system; general service ribbons will be awarded to members who apply themselves to selected corps within our forum. These include the presentation of the News Management Service Ribbon to both MiaG and Jock4419. Both members have taken upon themselves to assist the forums management in continuing its long tradition of media production which is displayed on the home page of Military Global. An undertaking that adds to the future prosperity of this wonderful forum.

Also I take the chance to announce further awards that will be presented in the coming weeks. These include an award that honors our members who even though are not serving members of the armed forces but have supported a family who has. Family members of those who serve are truly the unsung heroes of our nations; at the end of a hard day or campaign it is the families who support our men and women. This award even though is not fitting to recognize their service is our way of paying both tribute and respect to our extended family.

Another general service award that will be presented is the Post Count Recognition Ribbon. The establishment of this ribbon comes as a way for us to thank members who join the forum and commit themselves by posting material that ensures the growth and enjoyment of the forum. These include members who have posted more than 100 posts on the forum; this award has different classes to indicate different levels of post counts. With out posting members this forum would only be a shadow of our present day environment. These treasured members include Elwingflys, Gun Bunny, Jock4419, Observer_1938, MiaG, Outsider, Sniper and Ultra Requete.

The second matter that I would like to address is one of great importance. On behalf of the staff I would like to extend our deepest gratitudes to each and everyone of you who have continued to serve this forum both through your commitment and your contribution in to making this what this place is;

Thank you

Yours Sincerely

A HUGE congrats to you all for everything as collo stated without active dedicated members NO forum can be successfull.
Alot of work has went into the creation of this forum and I know at times kiwi has felt like this guy here---> ed but even if she had the greatest staff with the best programmers in the world today the forum would be merely a shell, a desolate "wasteland" of nothingness if the members were not pulling their weight.
I don't get by here as much as I would like to but when I do get the chance I'm always impressed with the activity level and #'s I'm seeing put up.
Kiwi,collo,other staff members and all the general members you all are doing great here keep up the good work your dedication WILL pay off more than it has thus far. US Flag UK Flag
