Brie, welcome to our humble abode, and greetings from the sands of Arabia. Glad you have joined. There's so many women on board now, I s'pose it won't be long before the net curtains go up on the windows, checked table cloths appear on the bar of the Officers Club and the Wool Shed gets swept out. (I volunteer Sniper and Observer for those tasks!).

Enjoy yourself here.  thumbs up

Thanks all!

We are in Sydney: background: we have two boys, the eldest 4 years, the youngest 5 months..... I'm reasonably involved in the defence community and am looking at becoming involved with DFA in the near future....

NRL- sorry, not if I can help it!

I was looking into becoming a volunteer national delegate for DFA- point of contact for family concerns etc. I understand the group has the power to advise on policy affecting families, I also appreciate that there may be no real influence at all!! Still interested in sticking my hand up and getting involved.... your thoughts? Have you had any experience with them...
