Just look at my signature.
I'll add more, little by little.

Rapidly:
Hussar comes out of Serbian word "Gusar",
meaning robber, pirate, as a combat tactic.
We had our first Kosovo Battle, in 1389....Serbs against Turks.
Once the Turks overwhelmed Serbia,
the Serbian Knights either chose to fight in Turkish ranks (even in Asia !!!),
or hired themselves to Medieval Hungary, where they were famous,
because better horse-mounted warriors
than the Cuman, Tatar and other Asiatic mercenaries Hungary had.
Serbian Hussars were known as "Rac" in Hungary
(from "Rashka", ancient name for "Serbia"), as well as "Huszar",
deformed from original Serbian "Gusar".
Poland knew about these Serbian hussars, and rented them also,
under the name "Racowie", always linking the Serbs with Ancient Ras, Ancient Serbia.
The Poles themselves called Racowie: Serbowie,
so that the origins of the Hussars aren't deleted.
Then, the Hussar concept of fighting
spread in neighbouring germany, france, Russia...all over Europe.
