Serbs/Serbians do not live only in the Balkans.
They also live on the Baltic Sea's shores,
and are there called "Wenden/Winden" by the germans,
who continuously struggle to germanicize them.
Persecuted by the germans from the early medieval times (like during WWII),
many Serbian families settled in Texas, where they build their own very Town,
named after themselves : Serbin.

"Serbin simply means "Place of the Serbs".
Sorb is the old-world spelling of Serb."
(Husar note : "Sorb" is nothing else but "Serb",
but disformed by germans and latins in medieval times,
hence the "Limes Sorabicum", meaning "Frontier with the Serbs",
in what became "germany".)
