'Strewth!  Feisty little topic, this one - I'm amazed that the "holiday" has taken off in Oz the way it has - when I was just a little Bloke Guy Fawkes' Night was the other big deal - which was good, 'coz it was close to the end of the school year, and then the Festering Season kicked off, and that meant two to three months of Summer - you little ripper!!!!  All that beach and sand and surfing - who wants to celebrate/commemorate the dead when you can get quietly fried for three months?

I love Holloween.  It's my favorite non-reglious holiday.  I also enjoy watching horror movies in October.

Well lets see, Ive participated in halloween since I was a small child and still do....I have a university degree, good job, my own house, family, havent ever killed anyone, havent ever robbed anyone or anything, dont sacrifice virgins in my outdoor fireplace or worship the devil

And Halloween is still a pagan hollow day the Bible condemns.

How did Halloween come to be considered a "Christian" celebration? Does the Bible say anything about All Hallows' or All Saints' Day?
