Well if they don't hurry they might not have any customers left everybody is emailing me to ask if I know anything, alot of folks going to leave they're not answering questions or anything from what I can tell.
collo you've tried registering for my forum?
If you're wanting to that would be fine as long as it won't stretch you too thin on time Kiwi needs you to be able to maintain your staff duties here.
The only reasson I am asking is because when we get it back online I'm making it an invitation only for registrations meaning new members will have to request an invite to be sent to them before they can register.
Guests will still be able to read the forums they can access now but to register they will need a special code or the system will not let them register.
I'm tired of all the fake emails so many are using nowadays so that is the purpose of going this new route.

I am trying to sign up, I won't be active as I am on other forums like Allied Forces and co but still pop in everyday to have a gibber what.

I just don't want Kiwi thinking I'm stealing her members because that is not what I am about.
Besides she is on staff  there so she'll be watching to make sure you don't get in trouble LOL
 I'll let everybody know when we are back on-line which I hope won't be much longer

My main priority right now is getting back to work on the forum and getting caught up on some things that I've not been able to do. the past few days I've had computer troubles again and have not been able to get on the history channels site for some reasson which is where I get the info for my this date in history posts I do on Grunts,as well as my forum + one other I'm a member of so I've been pretty aggrivated myself I'm going to see if I can get on there this morning and get my posting done on the boards I can access until mine is back up again.

I hear you Kiwi but I know some board owners can be touchy when it comes to such things especialy in an open format as above.
I would NEVER try to steal members from another forum an I admit I was nervuos about how you would take the conversation.
We're still down but at least Chris updated the page to give us an idea of what has taken so long so maybe they are close to getting it back online.
I really am not too worried right now because the weekends are always slow anyway but I hope that they get it back up before Monday as that is the biggest participation day for us there.
Modays are when I get 81% of the posting activity still I wait LOL

I know mate, as I said because I know you geez been a while now, its ok. 

I am going to create the website forum now.

Also I have been looking into Proboards, and I think that may suit you if you had to move. I was thinking Roadie too, it is a nice clean board, no swearing and no porn.

I can't remember if you have used that one?

Collo yes the history thread takes a bit of patience to put together but I enjoy doing it.
Kiwi Proboards was the first forum host I ever used I never really liked them but they've changed quite a bit from what I've seen so I could likely use them again down the road sometime.
FPB is finally back on-line so I hope things will settle back down now.
I did set up an IPB forum which works alot like this one here but Damn I'm lost with it.
I'm going to do a little at a time and set it up as a back up only forum in case it is ever needed.
Gosh Kiwi we've known each other for a year now.

Doc I have been running around like a headless chock hun, and collo has been great setting up and working hard on both our forums.
