Forum Rank Structure

The forum rank structure is divided into three sections, Enlisted, Commissioned and General Staff. Rank is earned as a result for the amount of posts each user makes. Each rank group has been color coded to separate them. The more posts, the higher the rank. As the forum grows, specialty ranks will be installed and appointed by the staff to members. Those ranks will be Regimental Sergeant Major of the Forum and Company Sergeant Majors.

Posts will be regulated to ensure that users don't post for the sake of promotion. These ranks do not carry any power or authority, they merely represent the users activity here on the forum unless so authorized by the site Administrators.

General Officer:
Field Marshal requires 2500 posts
Admiral requires 2000 posts
Air Marshal requires 1600 posts
Major General requires 1200 posts
Commodore requires 900 posts

Commissioned:
Group Captain requires 700 posts
Commander requires 570 posts
Major require 470 posts
Flight Lieutenant requires 390 posts
Sub Lieutenant requires 310 posts
Second Lieutenant requires 240 posts

Enlisted:
Warrant Officer requires 160 posts
Flight Sergeant requires 80 posts
Sergeant requires 40
Leading Seaman requires 20 posts
Leading Aircraftsman requires 10 posts
Private requires 5 posts
Recruit requires 0 posts

These ranks will take effect on April 30 2007 AEST.

Regimental Sergeant Major of the Forum.

The Regimental Sergeant Major of the Forum or RSM-F is the member?s representative amongst the Staff of the forum. The RSM-F addresses the needs of the forum from the perspective of a member and brings issues that need addressing to the attention of the Staff. The RSM-F also acts as a medium between the Staff and the members in the event of a dispute.

The RSM-F carries the same authority as a Moderator and has their own provincial powers that will aide them in completing their role on the forum.

The RSM-F rank is represented by the traditional Pace Stick below.
