The propellers on that thing are just toooooo strange for words. Are they for real? They look like huge flowers covering where the engines are.

Yes Elf. I think I see the propellers of submarines having a design influence on their configuration

Is that a double layer of props on each engine?

Thanks a lot. Very interesting. Followed one link to the attack chopper with the double rotor and no tail rotor. That is one bad looking momma.

The Russians seem to have become large transport aircraft junkies with all companies competing to make the biggest. Only problem is that there just isn't any work for them in Russia and they give massive discounts to the West to move anything anywhere. Strange world isn't it?

hmmmm, lookslike the Russians are still reverse engineering aircraft with that SU-47. We did that forward swept wing years ago, and decided against going into production because it was inherently too unstable.

Well after a lifetime of being told that swept back wings are faster than swept forward or straight, one would have to wonder at the logic. This whole concept is proven by moveable wings such as the F111, which sweeps them back at speed.

Bloody hell Collo! Do you know how much work it was to run through that slide show, print screen on all the individual pics, reduce them in size to under 128 K, then add them to the forum in small batches? And you want more? I'm gonna give your name to Xena on tonight's defaulters list.
